“You are no longer strangers, and sojourners, but you are fellow citizens, with the holy ones and members of the household of God, built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the capstone.” (Ephesians 2:19)
In this same spirit, Immaculate Heart of Mary is built up and sustained by the generous, and very dedicated commitment on the part of hundreds of our parishioners. We invite you to prayerfully scan the many ministries and organizations of this parish and commit yourself where you feel your gifts, time and talent may best be spent.
For each ministry, if you are not successful in contacting the person in charge, call the parish office at 257-2266.

If you would like to see the IHM grounds Beautiful and Healthy, then we need you to join this group.
All of the jobs you do around your own yard will be done at IHM; spring clean-up, flower planting, mulching, weekly watering, fall leaf removal, and so on.
It's good exercise and great fun! |

The New Blessings ministry began several years ago under the direction of Lucinda Anderson. This ministry provides meals for families who have new additions to their families. The ministry depends on word-of-mouth information as to new births or adoptions and then contacts the families to make arrangements for meal delivery. Typically one meal is provided for first time parents, while several meals are supplied for families with other children at home.Contact Info Here |

Office support, when needed, is usually on short notice for a couple of hours. Fr. Bob likes to have the office covered all day. Therefore, we might need someone to cover the phones and door from 8-9 in the morning or from 3-4 in the afternoon when I am gone, since Jeanne works part-time from 9-2. Also, if you have small children, but could prepare a mailing (fold, stuff, and put labels on envelopes), that too would be appreciated. Only on a rare occasion would you be asked to cover a full day. Thank you. Becky |

The Prayer Chain ministry began in the early 1980’s by a group of nine or ten members who formed a chain of phone contacts for passing on requests for prayers. In the last two years, the group has operated primarily in an e-mail format, however two groups or ten still function as a phone chain. Requests are made to any of the three contact persons who then pass the request on to the others. The group meets annually at the home of a member. Prayer requests are not limited to parish members.Contact Info Here |

Anyone knowledgeable in keeping buildings safe or knows something about keeping a facility such as IHM up and running, may be interested in this committee. The committee would take an overall view at how we can improve our buildings and grounds so they are safe for everyone on our campus. They would also see what it takes for the up-keep of the buildings so they are standing for years to come. |
